Touring Coordinator

About the role
M87 is looking for an organised and proactive Touring Coordinator to help build and deliver our artist tours across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
Working closely with our Bookings & Programming Lead and Directors, you'll be responsible for coordinating tours from initial agency engagement and promoter outreach through to routing, advancing and settlement, ensuring a seamless experience for artists, agents, promoters and venues.
We're looking for someone who knows their way around the Australian electronic music industry, enjoys building relationships and is comfortable juggling plenty of moving parts at once.
Where you'll be spending your time
- Building relationships with international agents and coordinating sub-agency agreements for the Australian and Asia Pacific markets
- Leading promoter outreach across Australian cities and regional markets, securing offers and growing M87's touring network
- Building and routing national tours, coordinating dates, offers and commercial arrangements across key markets
- Coordinating flights, accommodation and ground transport for artists and their touring parties
- Managing tour advancing with promoters, venues and production teams, ensuring all logistical and technical requirements are communicated
- Coordinating artist documentation, including visas and international travel requirements
- Managing tour budgets, financial reconciliations and settlements
- Building and maintaining master tour itineraries, keeping artists, agents and promoters across any changes
About you
- Experience in artist touring, artist relations or event operations, ideally within the electronic music industry
- Comfortable with promoter outreach, negotiating offers and working through commercial deal terms
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- Confident managing multiple tours, timelines and competing priorities
- A strong communicator who enjoys building and maintaining industry relationships
- Calm under pressure and comfortable solving problems as they arise
- A genuine love for electronic music and live events
Bonus: an established network of promoters across Australia, New Zealand, and East and Southeast Asia is highly regarded.
The details
- Ongoing independent contractor engagement (ABN required)
- Flexible hours, typically 2-3 days per week, varying with the touring calendar and peak summer season
- Hybrid arrangement, working from our Collingwood office and remotely
- Some availability outside standard business hours may be required, including evenings, weekends and international time zones
